La propia Alycia Debnam quiso despedirse apropiadamente, a través de una carta en su Instagram, de lo seguidores que tanto cariño le habían demostrado durante todo este tiempo: "Gracias a todos los fans por traer a la vida a este gran personaje, su pasión lo ha sido todo.
Un auténtico honor interpretar a Lexa, meterme en su piel. La echaré de menos".
Además quiso también hacer extensible este agradecimiento a todo el equipo, tanto técnico como artístico, por "tanta credibilidad, pasión y colaboración para lograr tanta autonomía". Del mismo modo se mostró agradecida por "haber tenido la oportunidad de representar un importante momento cultural y social", finalizando su mensaje con la característica frase de 'The 100': "May we meet again".

She could have never burst into fruition without such a flux of creativity, passion and collaboration that extends greater than a singular autonomy of my own. To the writers, directors, crew - hair, makeup, costumes, stunts, actors and Jason who helped me capture her essence.
